As-Is process documentation is validated by district personnel and any clarifications required are incorporated
into the documentation. At this point, many stakeholders begin to make simple but high-impact workflow changes
based on our initial recommendations. |

Evaluation of Process Effectiveness.
Documented process flows allow the district to better understand how it is conducting business and to identify
opportunities for improvement. Davidson Services analyzes current processes and recommends process changes,
step or process consolidation, and step or process elimination to improve efficiency and effectiveness. We also
recommend technology solutions that will automate manual tasks and/or streamline processes. |

“To-Be” Process Definition and Presentation.
Based on our evaluation of existing processes and industry best practices, Davidson Services prepares a
“To-Be” process report documenting the future processes with recommended changes and enhancements
implemented. The report includes process flow diagrams, process descriptions, and key requirements for any new
solutions that will support the To-Be Processes. We also assist districts with presenting the recommendations and
resulting processes to district staff and stakeholders, to build support for the changes and establish a common
understanding of the resulting benefits. |
