Complex System Integration
Project Management | Vendor Management | Complex System Integration | Infrastructure Design and Installation
With information systems increasingly offering overlapping data and functionality,
systems integration is more than just a technical requirement; it is a best practice.
Integration is vital to realizing the benefits of any new technology solution.

System integration saves districts money by reducing or eliminating duplicate data entry
and time spent reconciling discrepancies between systems. Integration also enables
streamlining of business processes to improve efficiency, and improves data access in
support of data-driven decision making.
Key Systems Integration Needs.
Implementation of core district administrative applications such as student information
systems and finance/human resource systems must include interfaces with a large number of supporting
applications. Student systems must exchange data with special education, food service, transportation/bus routing,
library management, and often with multiple instructional applications. Finance, human resource, and payroll
systems require interfaces with substitute management, time clock, e-procurement, food service, facility/work
order management, and fleet maintenance systems. Davidson Services personnel have many years experience
specifying and implementing such interfaces, and are familiar with many tools and options available for integration,
including the Schools Interoperability Framework (SIF) standards.
